At Netherwylde, our mission has always been simple: to have the happiest horses in Hertfordshire.

At Netherwylde today, we achieve that vision under our Yard Manager Shelley Harrington who sets the standards for the day-to-day care of every horse.

Her extensive knowledge and riding experience underpin the running of the yard, while her practical, thoughtful approach ensures those standards are consistently delivered.

Our committed team take the time to know every horse from Breakfast in their Box, or later in the saddle, lunging or just hand walking, right through to dinner and the 9 o’clock check.

All of this is delivered within Netherwylde’s outstanding facilities, combining a luxury setting with knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely individual care.

We understand that no two horses – or their owners – have the same needs. Care is always tailored around each horse’s needs, personality and routine, with a choice of exercise provision available to suit both horse and owner.

Our high standards of presentation are essential to the esprit of the Yard and I am very grateful that the Team clearly embrace this under Shelley’s leadership and their pride in what they achieve is self evident.
